Aim & Objectives:
This AK3K training is a collaborative program with the Ministry of Manpower to prepare Chemical OHSE experts to help develop Chemical OHSE policies in a company. Based on the Decree of the Manpower Ministry No. 187/MEN/1999 concerning the control of hazardous chemicals in the workplace, companies with the potential for a major hazard category are required to employ a Chemical OHSE Expert of at least 1 person, a Chemical OHSE Officer of at least 2 people (non-shift) and 5 people (shift). Whereas in the medium category, it is mandatory to employ 1 person (non-shift) and 3 people (shift) Chemical OHSE Officers: (Article 18 paragraph 1 (b) and Article 17 paragraph 1 (a)).

The Chemical Occupational Health and Safety Officer is an expert appointed to handle chemicals and hazardous materials in the workplace. Based on the Decree of the Manpower Ministry No. 187/MEN/1999 concerning the control of hazardous chemicals in the workplace, companies with the potential for a major hazard category are required to employ a Chemical OHSE Expert of at least 1 person, a Chemical OHSE Officer of at least 2 people (non-shift) and 5 people (shift). Whereas in the medium category, it is mandatory to employ 1 person (non-shift) and 3 people (shift) Chemical OHSE Officers: (Article 18 paragraph 1 (b) and Article 17 paragraph 1 (a)). This training is designed for personnel who work full-time in the company and are responsible for the production, storage, warehousing, and transportation of hazardous chemicals as well as OHSE officers and OHSE coordinators.

This OHS training is a collaborative program with the Ministry of Manpower to prepare OHS experts to help develop OHS in company. It is a form of selection for certain technical personnel who have taken courses for OHS officers (safety officers) or OHS instructor courses who are interested in becoming OHS experts as referred to in Law 1 of 1970 and its implementing regulations with a minimum duration of 120 hours or ±2 weeks.
