Scope
This course is designed to provide the knowledge, skills and understanding for persons employed as Helicopter Load Master safely and effectively. This course meets all the requirements set forth to work as an HLM in Indonesia as required by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) the Republic of Indonesia.

General Course Objectives:
Upon successful completion of this course, delegates will be deemed competent to work as a Helicopter Load Master within Indonesia.

Course Content:
  • Safety Regulation and Heliport / Helideck Knowledge
  • Longline with Remote Hook
  • Hover Hook Up
  • Preparation for External Load Mission
  • Standard Equipment for external Load Mission
  • Identification and Handling of Dangerous Goods
  • Communication with Helicopter Pilot for Arrangement of External Load
  • Job Visit and On-Site Test
  • Progress evaluation/ Competence

  • Standard: 4 (four) days face-to face learning, and 1 (one) day practical.
  • Blended: 4 (four) days online via Zoom, and 1 (one) day practical.

All persons who successfully complete the course based on the performance standards will receive
  • A certificate issued by the Training Provider approved by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) Republic of Indonesia; and
  • A laminated wallet course qualification card.
